DONT WORRY - HASLINGDEN MAN'S LAST LETTER TO HIS PARENTS - CORPORAL F. BULLOCK MISSING:-

On October 1st 1917, Corporal Fred Bullock, East Lancashire Regiment, wrote to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bullock, of 22, Parkinson Street, Haslingden, stating that he was in the best of health and that they had not to worry about him.
They have not heard from him since, and a few days ago they were officially informed that he was posted missing on October 10th.
Corporal Bullock is single, and 21 years of age.  He was a weaver at Hutch Bank Mill, and went up with his Derby group on january 20th 1916.  He is on the New Jerusalem Church roll of honour.
He went to the front in March last as a private, and his parents were unaware of his promotion until they received his last letter.
His brother, Private J.T. Bullock, is at the front with the King's Own Loyal Lancaster Regiment.
